Research and design behind the equipment
Xinhai Mining's equipment design is supported by a three-institute, five-centre R&D organisation. The Mine Research Institute holds CNAS laboratory accreditation and employs 500+ technical specialists who investigate 70+ ore types annually. The Mine Design Institute works to JORC, NI 43-101, and other international standards with 100+ designers using BIM. The Intelligent Equipment Research Institute holds 200+ patents.
Before a single piece of equipment is selected, Xinhai's CNAS-accredited laboratory conducts systematic ore characterisation. Testwork determines comminution indices, liberation size, and flotation or leaching response for each ore type. The resulting process flowsheet becomes the basis for equipment sizing and flowsheet design.
The Mine Design Institute then translates the flowsheet into detailed 3D BIM models, integrating civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical designs. Equipment specifications are matched against Xinhai's own 1,000+ models, modified where necessary by the Intelligent Equipment Research Institute based on 200+ patented improvements. The outcome is a mill circuit, flotation bank, or leaching train that is dimensioned to the pilot-validated process rather than off-the-shelf assumptions.
