Conditioning
Agitation Equipment
Agitation tanks maintain slurry in suspension between grinding and separation, delivering uniform pulp density to downstream equipment. They also blend reagents, provide residence time for leaching and prevent coarse solids from settling.

Equipment in this category
The choice of tank type depends on whether the duty is simple homogenisation, reagent conditioning, heavy agitation of dense slurries, or a step like aeration or lifting. Each variable points to a different tank family.
The range starts with a standard agitation tank for light-duty homogenisation and moves through high-efficiency units for intensive mixing, chemical reagent tanks with corrosion-resistant linings, lifting tanks for pumping duty, high-density designs for thick pulps, coarse sand tanks for fast-settling solids, and cone-bottom tanks for complete drainage.

What decides the selection
Correct sizing begins with laboratory settling tests and rheology measurements on your specific pulp. These determine impeller speed, tank volume and the power drawn per cubic metre. Corrosion coupons and chemical compatibility trials confirm the lining and wetted materials before the tank geometry is locked in.

Technical parameters
60 models across 6 machine types, as published in the Xinhai equipment application manual.
These are standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Treat them as a shortlisting aid, not as a performance guarantee for your duty. Final selection rests on testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.
