What decides the selection

Start with laboratory magnetic susceptibility tests on a representative sample. These results, together with particle size distribution and liberation data, point to the correct equipment class. Bench-scale and pilot trials then fix field strength, gradient configuration, and whether a dry or wet circuit fits the feed and product targets. Throughput and medium blockage risk refine the final model choice.
