Agitating Chute
The agitating chute separates heavy minerals from light gangue by imparting a reciprocating motion to the trough as water flows across it. Positioned after classification, it produces a rougher concentrate from a prepared feed.
Technical parameters
The agitation keeps the bed fluidised. This helps when treating feeds with fine dense minerals. It suits ores where a static sluice loses recovery, but the machine is a rougher; its concentrate needs cleaning by a shaking table.
The model table lists dimensions, processing capacity, feed particle size, and feed concentration for each variant. A larger model typically offers higher capacity and accepts coarser feed, but requires more floor space. Grade the available space, target throughput, and feed characteristics against the table to shortlist viable options.

What decides the selection
Before selecting a model, confirm the feed particle size distribution, ore density, and required hourly throughput. Also note the feed concentration range and the space available for installation. These inputs determine which model meets the duty. Conducting a laboratory gravity test on a representative sample is essential to validate separation performance and refine operating parameters.
