What decides the selection
Start by defining the measurement purpose and required accuracy for each process stream. Sampling representativeness and response time are determined through site surveys and pilot trials that reflect ore variability. Communication protocol and interface selection follow from the plant control architecture. Redundancy, calibration, and maintenance planning depend on the site’s operational philosophy and available technical support.

Instrument accuracy is not the same as process control performance. An automation scheme has to be designed together with ore variability, control strategy, actuators and data governance.

These are standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Treat them as a shortlisting aid, not as a performance guarantee for your duty. Final selection rests on testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.
