Dry Permanent Magnetic Cylindrical Separator
Drum separator with stationary permanent magnets for dry magnetic separation. It lifts magnetic particles from a granular feed, discharging them separately from the non-magnetic stream.
Technical parameters
Placed after size reduction, it produces a concentrated magnetic product or removes tramp metal that would damage crushers and screens. The machine handles both concentration of ferromagnetic ores and scalping duties.
The model table covers a broad spectrum of drum diameters and lengths matched to varied throughput demands. Rotation speed and motor power scale with the physical size of the drum, enabling the user to select a unit that balances magnetic exposure time with capacity. Each model code encodes these dimensions in a straightforward naming convention, such as CTG-0818.

What decides the selection
Before choosing a model, the project team should define the feed particle size distribution, the magnetic susceptibility of the target mineral, and the required split between magnetic and non-magnetic streams. Understanding the throughput the circuit demands and the physical space available for installation further narrows the selection. Laboratory-scale tests on a representative sample reduce risk.
