Magnetic Separation Equipment

Dry Permanent Magnetic Roller

The dry permanent magnetic roller removes ferromagnetic and paramagnetic particles from dry, free-flowing granulated feeds. A rotating drum equipped with permanent magnets inside lifts magnetic material as the non-magnetics fall away under gravity. It operates with no water consumption, suiting arid sites or processes where moisture would harm downstream recovery.

Technical parameters

In a flowsheet, it follows crushing and screening. It prepares dry concentrates for downstream electrostatic or gravity separation, or directly produces a saleable magnetic fraction.

The parameter table lists drum diameter, drum length, belt width, magnetic induction, feed size, capacity, and weight. Model codes follow a drum-diameter/drum-length convention, helping initial screening. Across the range, drum dimensions, belt width, and processing capacity scale proportionally. Magnetic induction intensity adapts to the magnetic susceptibility of the target mineral. Confirm the maximum feed size matches your crushing circuit.

Standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Use them to shortlist, then confirm the duty by testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.

What decides the selection

Before selecting a model, quantify your ore's magnetic susceptibility and define the separation goal: iron removal or magnetic concentrate recovery. Confirm the feed particle size distribution and moisture content; the machine needs dry, free-flowing material. Specify the required treatment capacity. These inputs determine the correct drum size, induction intensity, and belt width.
